Dr. Martin was my anaesthetist during surgery for a tendon reconstruction. He was reassuring and listened to my concerns about the effects of anaesthesia on sensitive scar tissue in my trachea from an emergency childhood tracheostomy. He came to see me again after the operation to explain the continuing pain relief medication and his reasons for choosing it. His calm attitude greatly and pleasant manner helped keep any anxiety low. I am most grateful for his skill and his help and wish him and his colleagues well in the health crisis we all now face.

A very caring, confident doctor. My anesthetist during a recent total hip arthroplasty. It was amazing how well I felt on re-gaining consciousness after the surgery..... very alert and in no pain or discomfort. If undergoing a general anesthetic can be a positive experience rather than something to endure - this was it. A big 'thank you' Dr. Martin.

A brilliant doctor – friendly, knowledgeable, patient, understanding, reassuring and so much more. My husband was very happy to be under his care. We both appreciated the time he took to listen, and the attentiveness throughout the stay in hospital.
